Candidate Profile
  • High school graduate
  • Minimum 2 years production kitchen experience, with at least 1 year food prep experience
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Basic cooking skills and creative food presentation skills
Job Summary

The Line Cook is responsible for preliminary preparation of hot and cold foods under the direction of the Executive Chef. Follows production guides, maintains food safety, sanitation standards, and transports food as needed.

Essential Duties
  • Review daily menu and work assignments
  • Prepare soups, salads, starches, vegetables, purees, and desserts
  • Set up and maintain food stations
  • Organize workload to meet schedule
  • Properly store all foods
  • Report safety or sanitation concerns
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment
  • Follow sanitation schedules
  • Maintain professional appearance and hygiene
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned
