Job summary

Magnolia Green Golf Club in Moseley, Virginia is seeking a part-time Prep Cook. We are part of Troon, a global leader in golf and hospitality, offering a fast-paced, learning-focused environment where you can contribute and grow.

You will maintain production standards, expedite orders, support sanitation and banquet functions, prepare items per recipes, and assist with inventory and deliveries. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour BOE, with healthcare and retirement benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Applicable Sanitation Training.

Responsibilities

• Learns and maintains standards in food production and quality.
• Expedites orders in a timely manner.
• Practices sanitation and safe work practices.
• Executes scheduled banquet functions.
• Prepares the proper amount of food according to production or forecast sheets and production plans.
• Checks deliveries and reports variances to chef in charge.
• Verifies daily cooler temperatures and cleanliness.

Magnolia Green Golf Club in Moseley Virginia is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Prep Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour BOE

Key Responsibilities:

Learns and maintains standards in food production and quality.

Expedites orders in a timely manner.

Practices excellent operational sanitation.

Executes scheduled banquet functions.

Maintains a professional relationship with fellow associates.

Helps reduce loss/waste.

Communicates equipment repair needs with chef.

Actively participates in training efforts.

Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Checks and dates all deliveries received and report any variances to chef in charge.

Verifies that all coolers are at the proper temperatures and are cleaned on a daily basis.

Processes inventory requisitions and receives supplies as necessary for quality production.

Prepares the proper amount of food according to production or forecast sheets and production plans.

Prepares items in accordance with established recipes for a consistent product.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Qualifications:

• Ability to read and speak English maybe required in order to perform the duties of the job.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Applicable Sanitation Training.
