YARZIN SELLA GROUP in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a Full-Time Prep Cook for a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or late nights. The role offers guaranteed 40 hours and a pay rate of $20–$21 per hour, non-exempt.

You will join a culinary team focused on high-quality food with consistent standards. This position requires 1+ year of culinary experience and ServSafe or equivalent license, with the ability to read recipes, work quickly in a high-volume kitchen, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of related culinary experience (pizza production experience a plus).
• ServSafe or equivalent Food Handler's License.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and scale recipes and prep sheets.
• Prepare, assemble, and cook items to established standards.
• Perform knife cuts with precision and complete general prep tasks.
• Prepare ingredients for service (vegetables, proteins, sauces, dressings, portion packs).
• Safely operate kitchen equipment including ovens and prep equipment.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards (labeling, dating, storage, FIFO).
• Set up, stock, clean, and break down your station.
• Communicate needs with Chef team (inventory, quality, equipment).
• Assist with inventory/restocking and maintain par levels as needed.
