Responsibilities of a prep cook:

• Preparing, standing service, and cleaning the station
• Washing, slicing, cutting, chopping, dicing, peeling
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Understanding and ensuring food safety, including handling, storage, and labeling
• Inventory management and reporting to the kitchen manager
• Assisting with dishwashing, restocking, organizing, and other kitchen routines
• Communicating effectively with the kitchen team

Skills and qualities:

• Advanced knife skills, including butchering and deboning chicken and duck
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and walk stairs
