Job summary

Farmer Boys is hiring a Prep Cook to help deliver farm-fresh food to our Guests. You will prepare ingredients, ensure quality and freshness, and support the kitchen team in maintaining high food safety standards.

No extensive experience required; we provide hands-on training and online courses to prepare you for great things. Must be 18+, able to stand and lift up to 50 lbs, and have or obtain a Food Handler Card as required by state or county.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous Customer Service and/or restaurant experience a plus.
• Physical: stand up to 4 hours, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must present State/County Food Handler Card within allotted time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for menu items and ensure quality and freshness.
• Assist in portioning, sizing, and maintaining food safety standards.
• Support kitchen team to deliver farm-fresh meals to Guests.

A Day in the Life of a Prep Cook

You’re the first step in delivering Farm Fresh Food to our Guests. You prepare the ingredients for our menu items and make sure they meet our high standards for quality control, food safety, portioning, sizing and freshness. Experience is great, but not required. We love to teach if you love to learn. We’ll provide hands on training and online courses to prepare you for great things.

• At least 18 years old
• Previous Customer Service and/or restaurant experience a plus
• Physically required to stand (up to 4 hours at a time), walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Approximately 99% of time is spent in a standing and/or walking mode
• Must be able to present State or County mandated Food Handler Card within the time allowed for the specific State or County
