Job summary

Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill in Annapolis, Maryland is seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join our team. In this role, you'll operate in a fast-paced kitchen, assisting with food preparation while maintaining high standards for presentation and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a professional, fast-paced, scratch kitchen environment as a Prep Cook.
• Assist with food preparation to meet high standards for food presentation and execution.
• Follow proper recipes and company specifications; maintain a clean, organized station and workspace.
• Adhere to proper sanitation protocols and safety practices.
• Assist with opening duties and closing cleaning duties as required.
• Work in an open-kitchen layout with coordination among team members, including assembler, expo, and management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age to operate kitchen equipment.
• Previous kitchen / culinary / chef experience is preferred, but not required.
• Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment including but not limited to knives, slicer, mixer, stoves, and ovens.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts.
