Job summary

Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café in Rogers, AR is seeking a prep chef to lay the foundation of our kitchen by preparing crepe batters, house-made sauces, and a steady stream of mise en place for busy shifts.

You will manage high-volume prep, label and rotate stock, and communicate needs to ensure no shortages during peak times, while maintaining strict food safety standards and a fast, precise work pace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift over 30 lbs.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification (can be obtained if hired).
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare signature crepe batters and house-made sauces from scratch.
• Execute high-volume prep for vegetables, fruits, and proteins with precision.
• Monitor stock levels, label, rotate (FIFO), and store items per health standards.
• Communicate needs of the kitchen to management.
• Support Crepe Crafters to prevent running out of ingredients during peak hours.
• Follow all food safety rules and regulations.
