Job summary

Denver-Asc seeks a Pre-Operative Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in an ambulatory surgical setting. You will assume responsibility for patient care per physician orders and facility policies, monitor supplies and related charging, and support the surgical team before operations.

The role requires RN licensure, a nursing degree, and current BLS/ACLS certification; candidates should have strong assessment, documentation, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of healthcare products and stock rotation, storage, and credit.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to healthcare products.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop and implement total nursing care for the pre-operative patient.
• Record and report symptoms, reactions, and changes in patients’ condition.
• Administer medications and treatments ordered by the physician.
• Care and discharge pre-operative patients per facility policies.
• Review pre-operative charts for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure consent forms are completed and aligned with orders and OR schedule.
