Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington in Arlington, TX is hiring a Full Time Pre/Op Registered Nurse. This role supports anesthesia care, patient safety, and coordinated nursing delivery in a dedicated orthopedic and spine setting.

Under the Pre-op/PACU Director, you’ll implement orders, nursing care plans, and patient records while assisting physicians in procedure rooms, maintaining aseptic technique and high-quality patient care at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Texas Nursing License (RN).
• CPR and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• Minimum two years of hospital experience; PreOp/PACU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement PreAnesthesia Care record and nursing care plan.
• Follow physician orders and maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with sedation and sterile technique.
