Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking a Pre/Op Registered Nurse for Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital in Arlington, TX. The RN will implement pre-anesthesia care plans, assimilate patient records, and execute physician orders while ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians during procedures, providing continuous evaluation of patient condition, and maintaining high standards of care in the Pre‑op/PACU setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Texas Nursing License.
• Current CPR and ACLS certification; PALS preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of hospital experience; 2 years critical‑care experience preferred.
• Pre‑Op PACU experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills.
• Good organizational habits and ability to adapt quickly.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical patient management.
• Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.
• Basic knowledge of continuous quality improvement principles.
