Job summary

MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time day shift. The RN provides patient-centered care, coordinates assessments, administers medications, and collaborates with physicians and the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will work within acute care, following established protocols, with focus on patient education, safety, and compassionate care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN license required; BCLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Strong nursing knowledge, documentation and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with nursing process and policies.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings, reporting changes to care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Collaborates to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR/code team activities.
