Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking a PRN Preoperative Registered Nurse (RN) at Prince William Ambulatory Surgery Center in Manassas, VA.

You will perform preoperative assessments, educate patients and families about the surgical process, and support the surgical team to ensure a smooth workflow.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
  • Active RN license in the state
  • BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
  • 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
  • Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
  • Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Position Overview:

As a PreOp RN, you will play a critical role in preparing patients for surgery by conducting thorough assessments, ensuring patient comfort, and delivering exceptional preoperative care.
