Job Summary and Qualifications

Join our team as a Preoperative Nurse in our ambulatory surgery center. Your responsibilities include planning, executing, and evaluating preoperative nursing care, ensuring quality and compassionate care.

What You Will Do

• Prepare patient care areas and ensure equipment readiness
• Conduct physical and psychological assessments, review patient history and tests
• Administer preoperative medications and IV therapy as prescribed
• Monitor patients until transfer to the OR

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or RN Diploma or higher in Nursing
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in PACU, ICU, or Surgery
• Active RN license as per state requirements
• BCLS certification (online not accepted); ACLS within 30 days; PALS if required within 30 days
