Job Summary and Qualifications

Join our team as a Preoperative Nurse in our ambulatory surgery center. You will plan, execute, and evaluate preoperative nursing care, demonstrating our core values and providing family-like quality care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient care areas and ensure equipment and supplies are ready.
• Conduct physical and psychological assessments and review patient charts.
• Administer preoperative medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Monitor patients until transferred to the OR.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or RN Diploma or higher in Nursing.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in PACU, ICU, or Surgery.
• Active RN license as per state requirements.
• BCLS certification (online not accepted); ACLS within 30 days; PALS if required.
