Job summary

USPI Pearland Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Pre-Op/PACU RN to join our team for weekday coverage with one Saturday per month. We operate two main OR rooms and two endoscopy rooms, serving orthopedic, ENT, urology, colorectal, and other specialties.

Some early mornings and later evenings possible; no holidays or on-call required. The RN will plan and coordinate pre-op and post-surgical nursing care, contribute to patient care plans, and monitor vitals while managing pain and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas Nursing License.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Pre-Op/PACU; ambulatory setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement nursing care for pre-op and post-surgical patients.
• Develop patient plans of care including problems, goals, evaluations and interventions.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, breathing; manage pain and nausea after anesthesia.
