United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking a motivated Pre-Op/PACU RN to join our Pearland Surgery Center team.

The position supports outpatient surgical procedures across multiple specialties, with a schedule Monday-Friday and one Saturday per month based on staff rotation. The nurse will plan, direct, and coordinate pre-op and post-anesthesia care, monitor vital signs, manage pain and nausea, and ensure aseptic technique in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas Nursing License.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Pre-Op/PACU.
• Ambulatory surgical setting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understand aseptic technique and implementation.
• Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize and implement nursing care for pre-op and post-surgical patients.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, breathing and respiration; manage pain and nausea.
• Participate in quality improvement audits and committees as directed.
