Job summary

Cypress Endoscopy Center in Texas is seeking a PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse to deliver continuous, high-quality patient care. The role involves evaluating patients, ensuring safety and comfort, and supporting physicians in the procedure rooms with sedation and sterile techniques.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license in Texas, with BLS and ACLS certification and 2 years in PACU or critical care preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in Texas.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required.
• 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Strong communication and nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients with continual evaluation of condition and safety.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile techniques as appropriate.
• Provide total care for patients emerging from anesthesia or sedation; assess, plan, implement and evaluate discharge needs.
• Prioritize workload and communicate effectively with patients and families.
