Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking a PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse at the Texas International Endoscopy Center in Houston.

The role focuses on safe, compassionate patient care from pre-op through PACU recovery, with emphasis on sedation support and post-anesthesia assessment. Candidates should be a graduate of an accredited RN program with an active Texas license, BLS/ACLS, and ideally 2 years PACU or critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold active Texas RN license.
• BLS and ACLS required (PALS if required by center).
• 2 years PACU or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Ability to make sound nursing judgments.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, ensuring safety, comfort and privacy.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with conscious sedation using sterile technique.
• Deliver comprehensive patient care as patients recover from anesthesia or sedation.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for discharge preparation.
