MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a registered nurse to join our PACU team. The RN provides patient-centered care from anesthesia recovery through recovery room protocols, collaborating with physicians and caregivers to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or nursing student rotations in acute care.
• RN with state licensure required; Basic Life Support preferred.
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and document findings.
• Strong communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered RN care.
• Assess patients and document findings; report changes to the care team.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within the scope of competency.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in code team activities.
