Job summary

MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care across the nursing process, from assessment to evaluation. The RN collaborates with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, effective outcomes and supports patients and families through all care transitions.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring for adverse effects, and participating in performance improvement initiatives while upholding infection

Qualifications

• RN state licensure is required or equivalent multistate licensure.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications are preferred.
• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting or student rotations required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the nursing process.
• Document patient assessments, medications, and care plans accurately.
• Monitor patients, report condition changes to the care team and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide PACU/post-anesthesia care, including pain management and patient education.
