Job summary

OrthoAtlanta is seeking a Registered Nurse for Preop/PACU on a per diem, on-site basis in Austell, GA. The role focuses on preoperative assessments, intraoperative coordination, and postoperative recovery support in a outpatient surgical setting.

Candidates should hold a BSN and a valid Georgia RN license (compact state acceptable), with ACLS/BLS certifications preferred and about 2 years of Preop/PACU experience. Join a collaborative clinical team and contribute to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• Georgia RN license or compact state license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications preferred.
• 2 years of RN experience in Preop/PACU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor preoperative patients, obtain vitals and review history.
• Monitor recovery from anesthesia, manage pain, address complications.
• Document assessments and outcomes in the EMR.
• Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesiologists and staff.
• Maintain patient safety and accurate documentation.
