Job summary

A respected orthopedic ambulatory surgery center in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Pre Op / PACU Registered Nurse to join their team. This role will involve providing pre-operative nursing care, delivering post-anesthesia recovery care, and ensuring patient safety in a collaborative, high-energy surgical environment. Ideal candidates will have an RN license and preferably experience in Critical Care or Emergency Room settings. This is an excellent opportunity with strong culture and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Experience in an ambulatory surgery center preferred, but training available for the right candidate.
• RN license required.
• Background in Critical Care or Emergency Room is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative nursing care including patient assessment, preparation and education.
• Deliver post-anesthesia recovery care while monitoring patients for safe discharge.
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia and peri-operative team members.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in SIS EMR.
• Support efficient patient flow throughout the surgical day.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to ambulatory surgery center protocols.
