Job summary

AICA Orthopedics, P.C. seeks a Registered Nurse for PreOp/PACU care in our Atlanta perioperative suite. This PRN role requires availability one day per week (Tuesday 6 AM–3 PM) to support patients before and after surgery with expert nursing care.

The ideal candidate holds ADN or BSN, Georgia RN licensure, ACLS and BLS/CPR certifications, and at least 2 years of perioperative nursing experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited program.
• Current active RN license in Georgia.
• ACLS certification (Active).
• BLS/CPR certification (Active).
• 2+ years perioperative nursing experience.
• Ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and verify consent.
• Monitor post-anesthesia recovery and manage pain and nausea.
• Ensure discharge criteria are met and provide home care instructions.
• Maintain accurate perioperative documentation in EMR systems.
• Serve as Alternate Director of Nursing when needed.
