DISC Surgery Center in Valencia, CA is seeking a per diem PreOp/PACU RN to join our spine, orthopedics, and pain management team. The role focuses on monitoring postoperative patients, managing pain, airway assessment, and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure safety.

Required RN license with BCLS/ACLS (or ability to obtain within 90 days) and 2 years of acute care/PACU/ICU experience. Per diem schedule; day shift. Benefits include a stable team and no weekends or holidays.

DISC Surgery Center is seeking a per diem PreOp/PACU RN for our Valencia location. This location specializes in Spine, Orthopedic, and Pain management procedures.

In this position, you will:

• Monitor post-operative patients' conditions and manage their pain levels
• Assess patients' vital signs and airways post-surgery
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families

Qualifications: To ensure success in this role, you should have:

• Valid RN license
• BCLS and ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Proficiency in airway management and post-anesthesia recovery
• Experience in ortho and pain management.
• 2 years' experience in acute care, PACU, or ICU experience

Pay Range: $55.00 - $65.00/hour
