Townsen Memorial Surgery Center is seeking a Full-time Pre-Op PACU Registered Nurse in Texas. The RN must hold an active Texas license and have peri-operative experience to admit and care for patients before and after procedures.

The role covers documenting care, educating patients, and collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure safe, efficient patient flow in a busy surgical center.

Qualificações

• Current, active, unrestricted RN license issued by the State of Texas.
• Minimum 2 years experience in peri-operative environment.
• College degree required; ADN with BSN preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS.

Responsabilidades

• Admit the patient to the unit and prepare for the scheduled procedure.
• Monitor patient condition and report significant changes to the physician or anesthesiologist.
• Explain nursing procedures to help reduce anxiety and educate patients and families.
• Document care delivered accurately in the medical record and ensure proper consent and records are complete.
