Townsen Memorial Surgery Center - River Oaks is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for Pre-Op/PACU to join our team in Houston, TX. The RN will admit patients, provide perioperative care, and develop individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Current, active Texas RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years perioperative experience in a clinical setting.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications must be current.
• Associate degree in nursing or higher; Texas RN license required.
• Ability to document clearly in the medical record and use EMR.

Responsibilities

• Admit patients to preoperative and PACU areas and provide nursing care.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with team input.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely follow-up communications.
• Respond to emergencies and adapt to changing schedules.
