Job summary

Townsen Memorial Surgery Center - Med Center is seeking a dedicated Full Time Registered Nurse for the Pre-Op/PACU unit. The RN will admit patients, provide care before and after procedures, and develop patient-specific care plans.

Applicants must hold a Texas RN license and current BLS/ACLS/PALS. A minimum of two years perioperative experience is preferred, with strong documentation and patient education skills required.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of perioperative nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Education: Associate's Degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Admit patients to the unit and prepare for procedures.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to physicians.
• Document care accurately in the medical record and EMR.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care.
