Required BSN or approved exception, Nebraska RN license or compact license, and BLS. Preferred PALS, ACLS, TNCC/ATCN, and prior perioperative experience.

Qualifications

• BSN required unless exception criteria are met or a pathway is approved.
• Effective communication is required.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and teamwork.
• Current Nebraska RN license or valid compact state license.

Responsibilities

• Provide, prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care with other health care providers.
• Coordinate care across diverse surgical services and settings.
• Perform patient assessments and ensure safety during preop and PACU phases.
• Maintain on-call responsibilities as required by shift.
