Job summary

Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, NE is seeking a Registered Nurse for Preop/PACU to provide preoperative prep, post-anesthesia recovery, and holding care for surgical patients. The role requires ADN or Nursing Diploma, valid Nebraska RN license, and certifications such as BLS, PALS, ACLS, with TNCC/ATCN within one year as department dependent.

Qualifications

• ADN or Nursing Diploma required.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS, ACLS and TNCC/ATCN certifications as per department rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative preparation, post-anesthesia recovery, and holding/recovery care for surgical patients.
• Coordinate nursing care with surgeons, anesthesia, and other specialties.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during overnight stays when applicable.
