Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor's Main OR PreOp/PACU department seeks skilled nurses for a full-time role in a 38-bay unit within a Level 1 Trauma Center. The team supports 20 operating rooms with about 50 cases daily, inpatients and outpatients across surgical services, with 24/7 anesthesia support.

Required BSN and Michigan RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS recommended. Varied shifts, comprehensive benefits from day one, and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited nursing program.
• BSN degree required or commitment to obtain BSN within five years.
• Current Michigan Nursing License.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• View patients holistically, considering physical, psychosocial, emotional, and age-specific needs.
• Demonstrate critical thinking to respond to patient situations.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise individualized care plans using evidence-based interventions.
• Identify education needs and provide teaching for discharge readiness.
• Create an environment that promotes a positive patient experience.
• Communicate clearly in documentation and with teams during rounds and handoffs.
