Job summary

Trinity Health Michigan's Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pre-op/PACU team. This full-time role is in the Operating Room with 12-hour day shifts and patient care before and after surgery.

Candidates must hold a Michigan nursing license; BSN within five years is required or in progress. ICU/Prep/PACU experience and ACLS/PALS are preferred. On-call duties apply. Chelsea Hospital supports growth and development with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires current Michigan Nursing License.
• ICU and/or Prep/PACU experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS preferred.
• Graduation from accredited nursing program.
• New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years.
• Canadian Nurses are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients before and after their surgical procedure in Pre-op/PACU.
• Provide quality patient-centered care through the nursing process.
• Serve as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit.
• Shift Available: Day Shift – Varying Start Times between 7am and 9am.
• On call requirement – must be within 45 minutes of hospital when on call.
