Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a registered nurse for the Main OR PreOp/PACU with a 38-bay department and Level 1 Trauma Center capabilities. The role supports 20 operating rooms and cares for inpatients and outpatients across elective, urgent, and emergent services.

The position emphasizes evidence-based care, patient education, and teamwork with anesthesia, surgeons, and staff. BSN within five years, Michigan RN license and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited nursing program.
• All new hires must have a BSN degree or agree to obtain BSN within five years.
• Current Michigan Nursing License and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients holistically across physical, psychosocial, and cultural factors.
• Gather and analyze patient information to respond to patient situations.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans using evidence-based practices.
