Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited nursing program.
• All new hires must have a BSN degree or agree to obtain BSN within five years.
• Current Michigan Nursing License
• BLS certification

Responsibilities

• View patients holistically considering physical, psychosocial, emotional, age-specific, cultural and spiritual factors.
• Demonstrate critical thinking by gathering and analyzing patient information and responding to patient situations.
• Develop, implement, evaluate and revise an individualized care plan using evidence-based interventions and standards of care.
• Identify education needs and develop teaching plans; use teach-back to ensure understanding; plan discharge needs with other disciplines.
• Create an environment that promotes a positive patient experience.
• Communicate accurately and timely in the EMR and during rounds/hand-offs.
• Maintain good rapport and address conflicts constructively.
