Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 5 East Orthopedic unit. The role covers adult orthopedic patients including total joint replacements and post-op care, with a focus on Relationship Based Care.

The night shift runs 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, offering full-time or part-time options with weekend/holiday rotation. The unit emphasizes high-quality nursing practice, joint commission certification for joint replacements, and a strong team oriented culture within Saint Joseph

Qualifications

• Graduation from a nursing program and eligibility to sit for NCLEX.
• Current State of Michigan RN license required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS required for specific departments: Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency.
• Experience: Canadian RNs encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze patient information to build an individualized plan of care.
• Develop, implement, evaluate and revise the plan of care.
• Educate patients and families using teach-back methods.
• Communicate patient status and care priorities during rounds and handoffs.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance in all activities.
