Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in preop and PACU.
• Associate Degree in Nursing completed.
• Arizona RN license or compact-state license required.
• BLS certification required at hire; ACLS certification required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Administers and monitors patients undergoing sedation/analgesia per physician order.
• Assess pre and postoperative patients for neurological, cardiac and respiratory status.
• Transfer patients from OR to ICU/Med Surg; assess for hypothermia.
• Care for patients with complex needs including mechanically ventilated patients.
• Administer medications via all routes and monitor for side effects.
