Tenet-AZ Region in Avondale, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PreOp/PACU - Post Anesthesia Care. The role provides professional nursing care, coordinates care planning, and may supervise other staff during shifts.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, determining nursing diagnoses, planning and implementing care, and ensuring safety during perioperative stages. Requires Arizona RN license, CPR, ACLS as applicable, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• License to practice as a Registered Nurse in Arizona; CPR certification.
• ACLS as applicable by facility/department; ongoing training may be required.
• ER/ICU/Endoscopy/Tele/Cardiac Cath Lab/L&D ACLS requirements on orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit and coordinates care planning.
• Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, safety and discharge planning needs, on admission and ongoing.
• Determine nursing diagnoses, plan and implement individualized care plans.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to other healthcare staff as needed; perform hourly rounding.
• Uphold safety guidelines and maintain high standards of patient care.
