Job summary

Atlas Healthcare Partners in Tucson, AZ is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in ambulatory surgery settings. You will collaborate with physicians and the health care team to ensure safe, effective postoperative care and documentation.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree or nursing diploma, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and PALS if ASC pediatrics. Prior PreOp/PACU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice (active or compact)
• BLS and ACLS required
• PALS within 90 days if assigned ASC services pediatrics
• PreOp/PACU experience preferred
• PRN status requires flexibility and reliability

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychological, social, and developmental domains
• Plan and coordinate preoperative and postoperative nursing care
• Implement care and coordinate with multidisciplinary team
• Document care and patient responses accurately
• Provide patient education and discharge planning
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
