Job summary

Shore Outpatient Surgicenter in Lakewood, NJ is hiring a full-time PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse. The RN provides continuous, quality care for patients from pre-op through PACU with monitoring, safety, and patient advocacy.

Active NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS, PACU/CCU experience preferred. The center offers medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401k and more. Wages: $40–$44/hr, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state of New Jersey.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years of PACU or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients.
• Monitor patient condition and ensure safety, comfort, and privacy.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation and sterile technique.
• Provide preop through PACU care and discharge planning.
