Job summary
The Center for Ambulatory Surgery located in Mountainside, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. The position involves caring for patients in both PRE-OP and PACU areas and coordinating with physicians and staff on a daily basis.
Candidate must have 2–3 years PACU experience with adults and pediatrics, an active RN license, and current BLS/PALS/ACLS certifications. Shifts are four 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state RN license; BLS, PALS, ACLS required.
- Proficient in starting and maintaining IVs.
- 2–3 years PACU experience with adult and pediatric patients.

The Center for Ambulatory Surgery is a five-room multispecialty ambulatory surgery center located in Mountainside, NJ. We are currently searching for a Full-Time Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to work four 10-hour shifts Mondays - Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks.
Major responsibilities include providing care for patients in both PRE-OP and PACU areas.
- Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, and be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, and maintain BLS, PALS, and ACLS.
- Must be proficient in starting and maintaining IVs.
- Must have 2-3 years of PACU experience with both adult and pediatric patients.
