Job summary

The Center for Ambulatory Surgery in Mountainside, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to work four 10-hour shifts Mondays through Fridays. The role involves cooperative work with staff and physicians and a variety of tasks across PRE-OP and PACU areas.

Candidates must hold a nursing license, maintain BLS, PALS, and ACLS, and be proficient in starting and maintaining IVs. 2–3 years PACU experience with adults and pediatrics is required.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing with state requirements.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 2–3 years of PACU experience with adult and pediatric patients.
• Proficiency in starting and maintaining IV lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in PRE-OP and PACU areas.
• Collaborate with staff and physicians to deliver quality care.
• Maintain readiness for emergency situations and monitor patient status.

The Center for Ambulatory Surgery is a five-room multispecialty ambulatory surgery center located in Mountainside, NJ. We are currently searching for a Full-Time Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to work four 10-hour shifts Mondays - Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks.

Major responsibilities include providing care for patients in both PRE-OP and PACU areas.

Requirements

• Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, and be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, and maintain BLS, PALS, and ACLS.
• Must be proficient in starting and maintaining IVs.
• Must have 2-3 years of PACU experience with both adult and pediatric patients.
