Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc in Toms River is seeking a per diem PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse. You will provide comprehensive nursing care for patients waking from anesthesia, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy throughout recovery and discharge planning.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and preferably 2 years PACU/CCU experience, with strong communication and prioritization skills. Competitive hourly pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if center requires.
• 2 years PACU or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Strong nursing judgment, communication, and workload prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient safety, comfort, privacy; assist in procedure rooms as needed.

PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse (RN) at Toms River Surgery Center

The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state of New Jersey
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Pay Range:

$47.00/hr - $51.00/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
