Job summary

Northern Monmouth Regional Surgery Center is seeking a per diem PACU Registered Nurse to join a service‑oriented ambulatory setting in New Jersey. You will provide comprehensive care to patients emerging from anesthesia and assist in procedure rooms as needed, ensuring safety and comfort throughout recovery.

The position requires an active NJ RN license and BLS/ACLS (PALS if required). Two years of PACU or critical care experience is preferred, with strong communication and nursing judgment for

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state New Jersey
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients in PACU.
• May assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile techniques as deemed appropriate.
• Provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assess, plan, implement and evaluate for discharge.

PACU Registered Nurse at Northern Monmouth Regional Surgery Center

The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

Qualifications

Pay Range

$47.00/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)

• Per diem/PRN employees are eligible for 401k.
