Job summary

Easterseals of Chicagoland and Greater Rockford is seeking a Doula family support specialist to provide prenatal, birth, and postpartum support to pregnant women and their families enrolled in the EHS/PI program. Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood, Social Work, Public Health, or related field.
• Doula certification preferred; training provided if not certified; certification within 6–12 months required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in home visiting, doula services, maternal health, or early childhood programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal education, labor support, and postpartum services to enrolled families.
• Maintain a caseload of 8–10 pregnant women with weekly home visits using PAT.
• Attend births and provide continuous support during labor and delivery, including evening or overnight as needed.
• Lead monthly prenatal groups aligned with program goals.
• Coordinate with home visiting staff to integrate Doula services into the EHS/PI program.
• Track outcomes and maintain documentation in Head Start ISBE standards.
