Job summary

On Location seeks an experienced Ticketing Specialist to provide first-in-class support for premium clients across pre-Games, seat assignments, delivery and on-site phases.

You will allocate inventory, collaborate with sales and operations teams, maintain ticketing systems, and train junior staff. Excellent English, a strong customer-service ethic, and five+ years of experience are required. This on-site role supports Olympic & Paralympic projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ticketing for the Olympic & Paralympic Games and other global sporting events with official hospitality providers.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with event ticketing systems and databases.
• Excellent computer skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
• Proficiency in project management applications.
• Strong customer service ethic.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to multi-task and manage concurrent priorities.
• Fluent in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills - written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide first in class ticketing support to assigned premium clients during pre-Games, seat assignment, delivery and on-site phases.
• Allocate hospitality inventory to support sales proposals, observing the latest applicable sales rules.
• Collaborate with the wider teams to maximise sales and achieve revenue targets.
• Assist in the specification of internal ticket systems for the efficient and accurate allocation and tracking of tickets.
• Ensure pricing and schedule information is kept up to date and inform relevant teams of changes that could impact operations.
• Produce reports and maintain integrity of databases and manifests.
• Facilitate the delivery of digital tickets to clients through designated official systems and tools.
• Train and support additional junior staff, as required.
• Provide training to client personnel on ticketing systems where necessary.
• Be proactive in identifying areas where support can be provided and processes might be improved.
• Demonstrate alignment with values in the performance of responsibilities.
• Other ticketing duties, as necessary to support On Location's delivery.
