Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Premium Runner for Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA to serve food and beverages at suites and catering locations during events. The job requires attention to detail and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

You will support Concession stands, Suite Attendants and Caterers, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and maintaining cleanliness. Prior customer service experience and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work as a Suite Attendant, Caterer, Bar Back and/or Bartender, if necessary and/or scheduled
• Highschool Diploma or GED
• Previous customer service experience
• Basic math and cash handling experience
• Must be flexible, have a sense of urgency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to take tasks that are not clearly defined and define problems
• Daily lifting and carrying up to 20-50 lbs.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Position Description:

Premium Runner at Toyota Arena will perform event driven serving of food and beverages prepared for Toyota Arena suites and catering locations.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure all food orders are fulfilled fully and received from kitchen without discrepancy or shortages.
• Assist Concession stands, Suite Attendants and Caterers as needed with maintaining the cleanliness and delivery of food for all suite/catering locations.
• Responsible for the completion of opening and closing duties assigned by the Concessions, Suites and Catering Manager or Supervisor.
• Adhere to company and state guidelines when pouring drinks.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Experience/Training/Education Requirements:

• Must be willing to work as a Suite Attendant, Caterer, Bar Back and/or Bartender, if necessary and/or scheduled
• Highschool Diploma or GED
• Previous customer service experience
• Basic math and cash handling experience
• Must be flexible, have a sense of urgency, be able to respond quickly and resourcefully to internal and external issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to take tasks that are not clearly defined and appropriately define problem, propose and implement solutions
• Daily lifting and carrying up to 20-50 lbs. up to 10 minutes at a time
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

License/Certificate:

A valid food handler’s card is required for this position. The company will cover the cost of the training and compensate employees for the time spent completing the course. The certification must be obtained within 30 days of the hire date

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

Tasks are performed with moderate supervision without assistance for 40% of the workday; pushing and pulling doors open, lifting, stooping, bending and lifting at least 20-50 lbs. Walking for long distances for more than 50% of workday. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours. Employees may be scheduled to work until 12:00am or later. Must be able to pass the background.
