Job summary

RHO Residential is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our East Boston community. The role involves hands-on maintenance to ensure a safe, well-maintained living environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and coordinating make-ready work. A high school diploma and English fluency are required, with 1–2 years in property maintenance preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with ability to read/write English fluently.
• 1–2 years in property management maintenance or related field.
• Must diagnose and repair: appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance as directed.
• Inspect property for unsafe conditions and address issues.
• Coordinate make-ready repairs and services with staff.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and inform supervisor of shortages.
• Assist with grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed.
• Respond to resident requests and communicate effectively.
