Qualifications

• Excellent meat cutting skills and ability to portion into sub-primal and retail cuts.
• Strong customer service and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, platters, and merchandises products (beef, pork, lamb, veal, poultry).
• Prepares specialty meat merchandise (sausage, oven ready products, cured meats).
• Checks product quality against WFM standards.
• Maintains sampling program.
• Mentors Meat Cutter Trainee(s).
• Provides excellent customer service and supports sales.
