Job summary

Fairmont New Orleans is seeking a full-time Bartender for the Lobby Lounge to craft cocktails and beverages for hotel guests. You will follow recipes, maintain an organized bar, and provide attentive service in a high-end environment in New Orleans, LA.

This role requires beverage knowledge, cash handling, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior luxury-hotel experience is preferred, with certifications in food safety and alcohol service beneficial.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in hotels or upscale venues.
• Knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options.
• Ability to handle cash and operate POS accurately.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States and Louisiana alcohol-service eligibility.
• Certifications in food-safety and alcohol awareness are preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Follow recipes and presentation standards; maintain bar stock and cleanliness.
• Process checks and payments; operate POS.
• Support VIP experiences, events, inventory, and hotel coordination.
