Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required; COA certification preferred.
• Sales or customer service background; healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information; strong communication.

• Proficient with EHR software and healthcare systems.
• Detail-oriented, multi-tasking, and high-quality record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on cataract surgery, premium IOLs, and refractive options.
• Pre-screen and pre-test patients; coordinate with physicians and clinical team.
• Counsel patients on vision correction options, costs, and financing.
• Explain lens technologies and differences to match patient goals and lifestyle.
• Schedule and coordinate pretesting, examinations, and follow-up visits.
• Maintain accurate patient and financial records; ensure HIPAA compliance.
