Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a design-related field from an accredited institution.
• Broad knowledge of interior design and effective sales techniques.
• Working knowledge of online sales and design tools.
• Good listening and communication skills in written and spoken form.
• Experience using social media and grass-roots marketing to develop a book of business.

Responsibilities

• Create design solutions that align with customer preferences and budget.
• Sell Ethan Allen’s products and services.
• Represent the Ethan Allen brand in all customer interactions and conduct home calls when needed.
• Utilize grassroots marketing and social media to grow the business.
• Educate customers about the complimentary design service and offerings.
• Stay current on design trends to deliver fashionable solutions.
• Coordinate with the team to provide exceptional service before and after the sale.
• Participate in corporate marketing and training programs as required.
• Educate customers on Ethan Allen financing options available to them.
• Contribute to the development and upkeep of the design center’s portfolio.
• Utilize corporate systems to maximize efficiency in projects and presentations.
• Enter orders using the retail point of sale system.
• Collaborate with leaders to develop business and grassroots marketing plans.
• Leverage 3-D Room Planner, CRM, Live Chat, and social platforms to build relationships.
• Perform any other duties as required.
